Fender and country music legend Brad Paisley have taken the iconic Esquire and decked it out with a few fun twists. For starters, this Artist Series model sports a Road Worn® Black Sparkle nitrocellulose finish which not only lends it a played-in feel but looks to match. The Enhanced V-profile maple neck has received a similar treatment and combines with 21 medium jumbo frets to elevate the playing experience some more, while no less important features such as the 3-ply spruce/paulownia/spruce body and brass barrel saddles further flesh out the unique build of this modern Esquire.

Brad Paisley-Approved Esquire with Seymour Duncan Pickups

The most brilliant twist of the Fender Brad Paisley Esquire is no doubt its pickup configuration. Paisley opted to maintain the authentic 'single-pickup-work-horse' nature of the Esquire, but at the same time demanded something extra. As such, he's worked together with Seymour Duncan to develop the Secret Agent: a medium output ceramic bar pickup that sits underneath the scratchplate, ready to deliver surprisingly rich and warm tone. Add that to the twang-packed Custom Brad Paisley Spec Vintage-Style Telecaster® pickup at the bridge and you'll quickly realise that this truly special electric guitar can take you in any stylistic direction. Très bonne guitare, très typée (micros et profil du manche) mais c'est son but.
Dommage qu'elle ne soit pas livrée avec une "case" dans la même veine, la housse bien que "Deluxe" fait tout de même un peu cheap...mais bon là n'est pas l'essentiel.
A voir l'évolution dans le temps en ce qui concerne les essences de bois utilisées mais cela semble prometteur...
