The American Performer Stratocaster: Packed with Modern Upgrades
This Fender has a body made of alder and is equipped with three newly-designed Yosemite single-coil pickups that have a shellac coating and deliver a powerful output. You'll also notice that they pick up the dynamics in your playing extremely well and make it easy to keep any feedback under control. Another great feature is the push/pull tone potentiometer that switches the neck pickup to parallel mode giving you even more sound possibilities.
Optimal Playing Comfort
The neck on this Strat is made of maple and has a satin-gloss finish for a smooth playing feel. The modern C profile, traditional 9.5-inch radius and 22 jumbo frets on the rosewood fretboard all enhance this model's excellent playing comfort too. Stable tuning is also assured thanks to the ClassicGear machine heads that combine modern usability with a vintage appearance.

Dagje vertraagd met PostNL maar mocht de pret niet drukken.
Jammer dat hij met een gigbag komt i.p.v. een koffer. Bespeelbaarheid uitstekend na wat kleine modificaties, inbussleuteltjes zitten erbij en een kruiskopschroevendraaier heeft iedereen wel.
Een Strat uit de VS stond al heel wat jaren op mijn wish list dus ben helemaal blij. Fraaie tekening in het hout dus kan niet stuk 😊👍

Ik kocht een B-stock versie van de strat performer honey burst RW. echt geweldig ! je denkt bij B-stock dat er vast wel wat te zien is dat er al op gespeeld is maar niets is minder waar. op de foto's was al niets te zien aan gebruikssporen maar nadat ik hem thuis uitpakte ook niets te zien ! als nieuw !
Vooraf had ik me al goed voorbereid en allerhande vergelijkingsfilmpjes op YT bekeken, performer, elite, professional en dat 50er jaren model. ik koos al snel voor de performer, sound, speelgemak, prijs. ideale combinatie.
Bax leverde mooi verpakt in doos, in Fender gigbag, met bescherming in de doos, prima afgeleverd dus.
Ben er echt heel blij mee, geef B-stock dus een kans zou ik zeggen...!

Supersnel en vriendelijk geholpen in de vestiging Amsterdam.
Thuis uitgepakt, wat een prachtige tekening in het hout van de body en wat een goed afgewerkte hals met prachtig donker rosewood fretboard! De frets super glad en glimmend en de actie op perfecte hoogte, wow!
Ik heb de lelijke giggle bag waar ie in zat meteen maar de kliko in gegooid want de gitaar verdiend het zonder meer om te schitteren in het licht en niet in een of andere zwarte zak.
Vervolgens de stratocaster aan de versterker gelegd met een Catalinbread SFT Stone-stoner pedal.
De snaren waren bijna op stemming, halve toon naar beneden afgetuned, en waarempel de Yosemite pickups komen sprankelend tot leven, net zo sprankelend als de gitaar eruit ziet.
Ik heb een 1980 “The Strat” en daar is deze uitstekend mee te vergelijken.
Supermooi fretboard en lekker snel voor bijvoorbeeld ook goede bends.
Ook de S1 pull switch - om de neck pickup bij te schakelen ( Greased Lightnin Bucket!) - is super handig en geeft nog meer mogelijkheden als je zou denken.
Heerlijk om te spelen deze prachtige Honey Burst Performer, en voor deze munten is het een blijver!
Ik ga snel weer terug, verder spelen ik ben er reuze blij mee.
PS levertijd was korter als Bax aangeeft dus met een beetje wachten haal je een bijzonder American Made instrument in huis waar je jaren plezier van gaat hebben.

My first Strat ever, I was always dreaming about original Fender, and here it is. After having it for around 2 month I can write that the guitar sounds awesome, decided that I want to have as original and as classic fender as possibile, this was the right choice. I learned all Clapton's songs and the sound is finally right! It Sounds lovely, I like singel coils even though sometimes they buzz. Very well maid guitar, I was a bit afraid to order a guitar online without testing and comparing with other in regular shop, but I'm not disappointed. package was well secured. However I'm a bit disappointed with the gig bag, Gibson for guitars at the same prices range gives nice lather bags.

Eindelijk een USA Fender gekocht bij Bax....een american performer stratocaster.
De laatste twee gitaren waren de duurste Squiers ...ook bij bax...en ik speel daar nog steeds graag op....echt geweldige gitaren en goeie kwaliteit voor het geld.
Maar toch bleef het kriebelen om eindelijk maar een echte californian Fender aan te schaffen.
Mijn eerste ervaringen zijn zoals ik verwacht had...goeie kwaliteit afwerking en fantastische pickups.
Ik speel nu afwisselend de usa fender en de squier en eerlijk gezegd is er niet zoveel verschil.....beide fantastisch gitaren maar vreemd genoeg met de usa fender blijf ik grijnzen :)
