General

The Sixties was a time of change, not just in popular culture, but also for the Fender Stratocaster. This American Original '60s Strat is packed with authentic details from this influential period, combined with a few modern tweaks that raise playing comfort even further. The thick, C profile neck is finished with a rosewood fretboard and 21 tall frets for supple playing and warm sound. This Strat also comes complete with its own vintage-style case.

American Original ‘60s Stratocaster: Pure Fender Tone

The solid alder body is home to three Pure Vintage '65 Gray-Bottom Single-Coil Strat pickups that have been reproduced as authentically as possible to give this electric guitar its unmistakable '60s Fender sound. The body and the back of the neck have both been treated with a nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the wood to breathe and age naturally. This coating also enhances this instrument's outstanding resonance.

Wrote the following about Fender American Original '60s Stratocaster Olympic White

Deuxième fois que je commande cette fender original 60 en OW.

La première fois, il-y-avait eu un problème au niveau du sélecteur de position, qui ne sortait aucun son en 5ème position (donc possiblement problème de micro). Je renvoie donc l'article (sur un autre site marchant) et là, on me propose une réparation... de plus d'un mois! Pour un produit neuf, c'est inconcevable.

La deuxième fois, je commande donc sur bax-shop (supers délais au passage, rien à redire). Cette fois-ci, l'ensemble des micros marchent mais... La corde de SOL n'arrête pas de sauter dans son sillet... Et lorsque l'on s'atarde sur le sillet, on voit clairement que la rainure de ce dernier est bien trop grand pour la corde : normal qu'elle saute.

Alors on dira ce que l'on veut, certes on conseille après l'achat de régler ou faire régler par un luthier la guitare etc etc... Mais là, il faut pas déconner. J'ai eu ibanez, squier etc et jamais de tels soucis, guitares réglées quasi parfaitement après achat (et on parle de guitare entre 200 et 500 euros hein)

Là, deux fender original à 1700 euros (1900 sur le site fender) et deux soucis et ce, malgré le certificat de test fourni avec la guitare...

Fender pour moi c'est fini. Sur des guitares à pratiquement 2000 euros c'est clairement du foutage de gueule.

Goede service door Bax! De strat is bijzonder goed. De vintage 69s komen goed tot hun recht in deze kracht patser van een orginal. De hals weet ook wel raad met snellere Satriani gerelateerde muziek. Maar in steve rai blues ben je niet meer te stoppen. De strat heeft geen Made in usa decals, dat is wennen maar in de 60s was het vanzelf sprekend dat de strat uit Amerika kwam, daar komt het vandaan.
