Celebrating its initial founding by Leo Fender back in 1946, the Fender 75th Anniversary Series honours its very first mass-produced model in the form of the Telecaster Diamond Anniversary limited edition. Coated in a diamond-style silver lacquer that's extended to the front of the headstock, this fitting ode to the primal, solid-bodied legend has an alder body with a fully maple bolt-on neck. Deluxe gig bag included.
The 75th Anniversary Telecaster: Sweet Fifties Twang
To give that classic tonally flexible Tele twang a distinctly fifties edge, Fender have gone for a standard, tried-and-tested control set-up coupled with a pair of two Vintage-Style '50s single-coil tele pickups, ensuring the sweetest, most delicious sonic response possible. In terms of comfort, a modern C-profile neck and more contemporary 9.5-inch fretboard radius provide that renowned snugness and tight feel as you navigate the 22 medium jumbo frets, while stable tuning is guaranteed by the Standard closed oil-bed machine heads and the fixed String-Through-Body bridge loaded with six steel block saddles.
