It's been 75 years since Leo Fender first set up the Fender Musical Instruments Company and to mark its anniversary, we're treated to a Commemorative edition Tele. Part of the very special Anniversary Commemorative line, this particularly deluxe and dapper model comes coated in a tastefully light, two-colour Bourbon Burst giving the characteristic grain of the solid ash body the space to shine through. The look of this high-class Telecaster is polished off by luxurious, gold-plated hardware, while the snug-feel of the Deep-C neck profile and medium-jumbo frets provide the luxurious playability. This fitting ode comes complete with a hardshell case.

The 75th Anniversary Commemorative Telecaster: Familiar Sparkle with Boosted Output and Resonance

The ash body sets up this model with a highly resonant foundation sound framed by clear trebles and basses and a light mid-range scoop. Plugged in, the mounted pair of Custom Shop pickups is activated and steered by a tried-and-tested set of pots and a three-way selector switch. These Twisted Tele single-coils deliver an impressive range of high-output tone, all buttered-up with that renowned Telecaster-style sparkle, and to finish, the highly flexible bridge can be set up as a toploader or string-through-body as preferred, while the Modern Short-Post locking tuners firm up tuning, speed up string changes, and come fitted with white pearloid buttons for that fitting retro touch.
