While it seems longer, the underground classic that is the Fender Jaguar has only been around for sixty years, and in honour of more than half a century of service, Fender present the 60th Anniversary edition, wrapped up in a Vintage-Style deluxe Hardshell case finished with an elegantly embroidered 60th Anniversary logo. This American-built Jaguar retains all of the looks, charm and detailing that first made it famous; comes dipped in a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer; features a matched headstock, and an obligatory set of pearloid position blocks.

The C-profile of the neck has exactly the same feel as the 1966 model and has been coupled with a round, 7.25 inch radius rosewood fretboard and twenty-two vintage-tall frets to complete a smooth, light and familiar playing feel. A broad sonic spectrum is laid down by a tried-and-tested set of custom single-coil pickups - exclusively developed for this model - and come fully backed up by a classic set of tone and volume controls and slide-switches. A set of Fender Vintage F-Stamped tuners, a Vintage-Style Floating tremolo tailpiece and a six-saddle Vintage-Style bridge polish everything off, and beneath the bridge, you'll even find an Adjustable Bridge Mute that can be triggered to harness that timeless muted tone.
