With the Phynica Series FSST820, Fazley introduce a versatile electric guitar sporting boutique looks at a surprisingly sharp price. This model is built using basswood and a stunning flamed maple top coated in transparent lacquer to lend full visibility to the beautiful and unique grain pattern. Finished with nicely contrasting binding surrounding the body, this effortlessly elegant-looking guitar offers pure value for money.
The Phynica FSST820: Full Playing Comfort
One of the key features of this Fazley Phynica model is the skilfully finished roasted maple neck with C-profile and traditional 9.5" fretboard radius. This, in combination with the rounded heel, not only provides unrestricted access to all 22 frets, but full modern playing comfort. Fazley have even mounted a Wilkinson 2-point tremolo bridge for vibrato effects and a bone string nut and locking machine heads to ensure more than reliable tuning stability.
Versatile sound
The Fazley Phynica FSST820 comes armed with an HSS pickup configuration and, as such, can be used for a wide range of styles. The ceramic humbucker in the bridge position packs enough power for more intense styles, while the single-coils in the mid and neck positions cover pop, blues, and funk. It's this high level of tonal flexibility that makes the Phynica a worthy addition to your guitar collection!

In eerste instantie had ik gedacht om de pickups uit te wisselen, maar het heldere geluid bevalt me eigenlijk wel.
Als ik beginnend gitarist zonder enige kennis van gitaren was geweest, had ik 'm, gelet op bovenstaande onvolkomenheden, teruggestuurd. Gelukkig heb ik die kennis wel in huis. Al met al ben ik tevreden met deze gitaar.
Gitaar is niet te zwaar maar precies goed van gewicht.
Komt uit de doos al heel redelijk afgesteld. De tremelo komt standaard zwevend. Daar moet je van houden. Ik zie hem liever vlak tegen de body.
Opvallend en het grote pluspunt zijn de uitzonderlijke nette en comfortabele hals en en goede fretwerk. Veel beter dan andere gitaren in deze prijsklasse.
De pick-ups zijn merkloze instap exemplaren waarvan weinig specificaties bekend. Maar hé, zo kun je in de toekomst ook nog eens wat upgraden.
De locking tuners zijn erg fijn en doen hun werk goed, na een week inspelen blijft de stemming nu ook dagenlang zuiver.
Ik geef 4 sterren. Als de pick-ups van betere kwaliteit waren had ik 1 ster meer gegeven. Maar voor de prijs na de korting mag je daar eigenlijk niet om zeuren.
Kortom echt een aanrader!
