Iconic bite and twang wrapped up in a deluxe finish: the Fazley FTL218 TE-style electric guitar has been built to provide any beginner with a style-packed study partner, or more advanced guitarists with a solid back-up. The FTL218 comes fully equipped with the renowned brightness and presence of a lipstick-single-coil at the neck and the gritty warmth of a slanted open single-coil at the bridge.

The body of the FTL218 has been made from basswood, which is not only lightweight and a touch easier on your back, but ensures a neutral, light, balanced, and transparent foundation sound, while the bolt-on maple neck adds a touch of bite, and the blackwood fretboard rounds everything off with just the right amount of warmth. Built for comfort as well as sound, this style-packed model is great for getting to grips with your first chords and scales.

There are a few small imperfections in the finish. If I had just bought a Gibson or Fender it would be unacceptable, but for £50 for a brand new guitar, I think it's absolutely remarkable. If you were to buy a second hand guitar for the same money, you'd expect a few blemishes. The sunburst effect is simply beautiful.
The guitar has a really nice weight to it. It doesn't feel like it's been made with balsa wood.
I find it incredible that Bax can make a really good quality guitar for such a low amount of money. I have played a lot of guitars and this really is as good as ones costing umpteen times the price. If the name on the headstock doesn't bother you, don't spend more than you need to. Honestly, this guitar is every bit as good as anything else on the market which doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Look at the many YouTube reviewers saying the same thing if you don't believe me!

Het stemmechanisme is zeer goed. De hals is recht. Geen gebrom of geruis. Ik speel er vooral blues en oudere rock mee. Clean is fantastisch. Het is een tweede gitaar voor thuis. Ik weet niet wat de gitaar doet als je regelmatig op het podium staat. Ze voelt niet echt sterk aan. Best mogelijk dat ze na een jaar versleten is. Toch is het ongelooflijk dat ze voor zo weinig geld dat kunnen maken.
Ik ben tevreden, een aanrader !!
