Fazley FTL218 Natural Electric Guitar + Amplifier and Cable

The guitar was really good quality for the money better than I had expected. The finish was perfect and it sounds as good as the more expensive guitars I played before .so nice one to BAX MUSIC and FAZLEY I would recommend the guitar and it is a good platform if you want to upgrade the hardware etc but it's OK as it is.

At £66 this guitar is incredible value for money. The photos on this website don't do it justice. It looks and plays very well. Over the years I've paid four times as much for guitars that haven't been as good as this one. This is my 4th Fazley and are all keepers.

I had previously bought a guitar to add to my own collection from Bax, and was favoiurably impressed. So when my daughter said my granddaughter wanted an electric guitar for Christmas (at short notice - less than a week before the day!) I immediately turned to the Bax website, ranked S and T type guitars by price low-to-high (if previous experoience is anything to go by, the fad will have disappared by the end of January, so I was not just being cheap) and lighted upon this blonde TE style. I expected it to be workmanlike at least, but not much more. Wrong. It arrived promptly and is GREAT! Good fit and finish, good intonation, no visible flaws, no snaggy fret-ends. If she getss fed up with it, I shall be happy to take it back into MY music room. Only when it arrived did I realise that the top edge binding gives it quite a Hohner/ Prinz/ Prince vibe, and I think it looks smart. All around, a very good buy, and I am well pleased (I write on Christmas Eve, and can only hope that the granddaughter also likes it!).

So easy to select the right product from an amazing range of products. Went over this telecaster with a fine tooth-comb. There was a slight problem with the tone control which I fixed in minutes. Otherwise the quality is amazing and my son and I have tested the sound settings and pickups and we're astonished at how good it is. We have over a dozen guitars between us so we do know what we're talking about. This telecaster is beautifully made and finished and for the money it's unbeatable. I might change the strings but that's all I'll change. I'm really impressed.

Also on the finish - I think it would be better without the black stripe around the front, continue the wood effect like around the back - the black line isn't straight and looks cheap! If straight would be okay!

Bought Saturday, promptly received Tuesday. I had to sand some of the higher frets to get a nice low action with every note playable through bends, as sometimes with low action high notes & bent high notes were hitting the frets above, also there was a weird buzz on certain strings but I seem to have rectified it now after some light work on the nut & new strings. It was a learning experience and I wasn't bothered for the price, it was actually quite rewarding getting it to play how I want. The guitar is nice and playable now. Only problem is the first pickup selector doesn't work, but I'm assuming this will be a relatively easy fix, haven't looked inside yet. I was probably unlucky with both issues, I would definitely recommend this guitar for the price, having a lot of fun practising with it!

Guitar arrived bang on time ie. quickly. Looks fantastic (from a short distance) but for 56 quids I'm not going to pull it apart for the very minor flaws in the finish which are only visible upon close inspection.
After a little tweaking on saddle and truss rod the action is very good.
The strings will need to be changed very soon to my preferred brand but the stock strings will get you playing for the time being.
The pickups are as good as any on a low priced guitar. They work fine and they sound like a tele should. I'll probably change them at a later date to something a little hotter.
The tuners are ok and do the job, but again, to be changed to my preferred tuners in the near future.
All in all, an incredible bargain. Great looking (and now playing) guitar and great service from Bax.

Received this today, fantastic value for money. Like all guitars, it needs setting up, but still playable out of the box. It looks really good and has solid fittings. It has also captured the Telecaster sound and the to control ancually makes a big difference.

Ordered 830pm Thurs arrived 420pm Saturday. Very well packaged excellent delivery. Awesome guitar. Now being played at the expense of a Gretsch Electromatic and an Epiphone Dot both of which cost £500 each. How they do this for the price I have no idea. Later on the Saturday went out for a very forgettable meal for two which cost 95p more! Not even changed the strings yet. It arrived very close to in tune. Looks beautiful and plays lovely. Ideal guitar to upgrade in future I guess but I'm very happy with it as it is

I bought a telecaster type guitar in the October sale. It was a great price and delivery was quick, as stated. The guitar arrived double boxed with lots of packaging and was in perfect condition. The quality of the guitar for the price is amazing although I must say the neck and strings were a bit grubby. This is a quick fix and to be honest I have had to clean every guitar I have bought so no hardship there. Also it needed a slight tweak in the set up and I decided to put new strings on, but again that's not a big job and even a novice like me can do it. Overall a great company to deal with (not had to contact them for any issues though) great quality and a 3 year guarantee, what's not to like!
