The upgraded EVH Wolfgang Standard now comes with a Baked Maple neck, which not only looks exceptionally tasteful but is more stable and comfortable than ever thanks to the special treatment and oil finish it's received. Compared to lacquered necks, it offers a highly natural feel and smooth gliding along its entire length. This signature electric guitar is suitable for both soloists and rhythm guitarists and has a 12 to 16-inch compound radius so you can find the perfect balance between robust riffs, solid chords and impressive leads.
The Wolfgang Standard Baked Maple: Brown Sound With More Than Enough Dynamics
As anticipated, the characteristic basswood body of this WG STD is mounted with two Wolfgang humbuckers to affirm Eddie van Halen's popular Brown Sound with full emphasis on the mid-range. The vintage tonal nature of the magnet gives way to rich dynamics while the 3-way pickup switch and two pots help you find your sweet spot while you dish out smooth licks. Needless to say, this EVH axe is equipped with a Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge with a matching locking nut to bring out divebomb-laced leads with eased precision and without throwing the tuning of the guitar under the bus.
