With its contrasting black body and creamy neck, this EVH Wolfgang is a real looker. The EVH Wolfgang Special T.O.M. Black Cherry Burst produces the authentic sound made famous by guitarist Eddie Van Halen, but won't empty your bank account. Thanks to a special production process, production costs have been kept at a reasonable level, so you can get your hands on a quality instrument for a very attractive price.
EVH Wolfgang Special T.O.M. Black Cherry Burst: The Body
Like its Wolfgang Special counterparts, this Black Cherry Burst beauty has a body made of basswood - a type of wood that produces a remarkably warm tone, especially when it's directed through an amplifier. In order to add some crispness, EVH has fitted the guitar with a maple neck and fingerboard, resulting in an overall well-balanced sound. The pickups were specially designed by EVH themselves for the Wolfgang series, and perfectly suit the sound of the guitar's body.
Electronics and hardware
This EVH guitar boasts a number of remarkable details. To increase sustain, the zebra-coloured pickups have been mounted directly onto the body. The typical Floyd Rose tremolo has been replaced by a tune-o-matic bridge, which delivers a tight, direct sound. A tone knob allows for additional tonal adjustments, and you can choose your preferred pickup configuration by means of a three-way switch. Naturally, a quality volume knob is also part of the package.

EVH gitaren zijn vooral gekend voor hun bespeelbaarheid.Met zijn compound radius maple fingerboard en jumbo frets speelt hij geweldig.
Pick-ups zijn vastgeschroefd op de gitaar en hebben een hoge output.Echt een supergeluid.
De finish is top met die subtiele "flame"erin en heb voorlopig nog geen foutjes kunnen ontdekken.
Jammer genoeg geen koffer of zelf een geen gigbag maar heb er een Gator koffer bijgenomen waar hij perfect inpast.
