General
This EVH features subtle, curved contours and a colour combination that's impossible to miss! The EVH Wolfgang Special has a special yellow-and-black striped finish that Eddie van Halen made popular back in the eighties. The two humbucking pickups that have been screwed right into the body provide a powerful sound and lots of output and definition. The warm tone of this guitar is a result of its basswood body, and the bright edge is thanks to the maple neck and fretboard. To complete the excellent playing experience, this guitar boasts a 12 to 16-inch compound radius.
Wolfgang Special: a true Van Halen
The Floyd Rose and matching D-Tuna on this axe give you the ultimate Eddie van Halen experience. With the Floyd Rose tremolo, you can recreate the same extreme divebombs Eddie played in 'Eruption', and the D-Tuna will drop your tuning down to a low D in a flash so you can play 'Unchained', another Van Halen classic. But let's face it, even if you aren't a fan of Van Halen songs, this guitar is suitable for any kind of music. Rock on!
