General

The LTD SC-207 is a remarkable signature model designed by Stephen Carpenter's specifications. The guitarist for the famous metal band Deftones opted for a 7-string metal/hard rock instrument equipped with a set of humbuckers in the bridge and middle position. Humbuckers in the middle position mean that their already full, fat sound is fiercer and tighter. The added bass string, a low B, makes that this electric guitar is fully ready to tackle the rough stuff.

LTD SC-207: comfort and sustain

An essential feature for metal guitars is that they are as smooth as a round silk fur for an unhindered Deathblow of lightning-fast riffs and solos. It is small wonder then that the LTD SC207 has a slender neck, a comfortable arched body and a double cutaway. The large frets, by the way, allow for virtually effortless string bends. Moreover, this guitar features a strings-through-body construction that greatly enhances the tone's attack and sustain.
