General
Looking for your first guitar or a backup axe that can handle all things rock and metal? Then you can't go wrong with the ESP LTD MT-130. Based on the coveted ESP Mirage, this affordable electric guitar gets full marks for looks, sound and feel. The comfy basswood body has been bolted to a maple neck finished with a reversed headstock, and comes mounted with an HSH pickup loadout, setting you up with two humbuckers and a single-coil pickup that can effortlessly whip up everything from smooth cleans to crunchy distortion. And, thanks to the modern two-point tremolo bridge, you can even add vibratos to your licks.
The MT-130: Ample Playing Comfort
Besides versatile sound, ESP LTD has ensured that the MT-130 treats novice guitarists to a satisfying playing feel. The maple neck has been given a satin-gloss coating for an extra-smooth feel, even after you've been grabbing chords for a couple of hours, while the fretboard has been polished off with 24 extra jumbo frets and a 13.75-inch radius, resulting in a controlled grip on the strings and a fast feel. The arrowhead position markers that embellish the fretboard are the artistic cherries on top.
