General

Guitarists who'd like to dive down into the depths of metal make an excellent choice with a baritone electric guitar. Its 27-inch scale length ensures that the bass strings aren't too slack in drop tunings. The ESP LTD MH-401BFM is a baritone guitar with a transparent black lacquer that allows the beautiful grain of the flamed maple top to shine through marvellously. This is a smooth-playing, top-quality instrument by the ever-reliable LTD.

MH-401BFM: sound and comfort

The body of the MH-401BFM is made of mahogany in order to ensure a powerful, warm yet clear resonance. Mahogany is also an excellent base for the two active pickups by the famous EMG: the 81 and 85. The EMG 81 produces tight sounds, while the 85 takes care of a rather warm tone. Additionally, a string-thru bridge and neck-thru body construction take full responsibility for the instrument's great sustain, while its pleasantly slender neck and extra large frets make it easier to play fast riffs and solos.
