You don't need to be a Metallica fan to notice that for this Kirk Hammett signature guitar nothing else matters besides high quality (apart from its very reasonable price tag that is). The body of this quality instrument is made of full and balanced resonating alder, ensuring a great core sound. Additionally, this guitar's extra-slender neck runs through the entire body (neck-thru-body construction), giving the LTD KH-602 BLK (Black) noticeably better sustain and a more direct sound.
The fuel and fire of the KH-602
Advanced guitarists will have noticed that the LTD KH-602 BLK features a duo of EMG active humbucker pickups to guarantee a very powerful sound. You can depend on the immensely powerful, transparent and balanced tones of the EMG 81 and the rich, big sounds of the EMG 60. Last but not least, there's the tone-bending Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo bridge which excels in tuning stability.
