General

The ESP LTD EC-407BFM is a properly built baritone electric guitar with seven strings. Thanks to the combination of an extra bass string and the baritone scale length (27-inch) you can go really, really deep while retaining a playable string tension. Other than that and the flamed maple top, the EC-407BFM is virtually identical to a regular 7-string EC-407. The flamed maple gives this instrument a luxurious look. A notable feature that this guitar shares with its sibling is the duo of EMG pickups (81-7 and 707), which ensure even and clear seven-string sounds.

EC-407BFM: speed and sound

ESP designed the EC-407BFM to be a proper speed demon. For instance, this electric guitar features a comfortably slender U-profile neck that allows for smooth and quick movements of your left hand along the fretboard. Extra large frets were selected to ensure easier string bends. Thanks to the cutaway, you can also reach even the highest frets with ease. Furthermore, the EC-407BFM features a mahogany body for a powerful, full tone that pierces through the mix excellently, with an arched top that increases playing comfort.
