General

ESP LTD introduce the XJ-1 HT: an offset electric guitar aimed at guitarists with an inclination towards the modern rather than the old-fashioned. From the Black Blast sand-blasted finish of the ash body to the 3-piece roasted maple neck, this Deluxe Series offering is simply striking. Not only that, it plays like a dream thanks to the thin U neck carve, the fixed Hipshot bridge (hence 'HT' for hardtail), and the twenty-two extra-jumbo stainless steel frets on the ebony fretboard.

The ESP LTD XJ-1 HT: Powered by Fishman

While armed with just a single pickup, the XJ-1 HT is surprisingly versatile since the Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker at the bridge comes loaded with three voicings, giving you the pick of vintage PAF-style sound, a more souped-up, hot-rodded sound, and the warm cleans of an overwound single-coil. Crowned with a set of LTD locking tuners, this ESP LTD electric guitar is also satisfyingly easy to re-string.

Wrote the following about ESP LTD Deluxe XJ-1 HT Black Blast Electric Guitar

Really happy with this guitar. Took a bit of a gamble on it as no chance to try one in person but always been happy with ESP Ltd guitars I've tried previously.

Bit heavier than I was expecting but I don't mind a weighty guitar. Neck is super smooth and a little thicker than my Ltd Eclipse. Ideal for Rhythm playing but slim enough for playing lead when required.

Locking tuners hold tuning really well.

Favourite thing is the finish on the guitar, love that you can see/feel all the grain on the guitar.

Would definitely buy again
