General

This seven-string ESP LTD Deluxe Series offering boasts a longer 27 inch scale length and a baritone setup complete with the elastic, far-reaching tone of a pair of Fishman Fluence pickups. The scale length of the SN-1007HT keeps the feel of the higher gauged strings tight and controlled while supporting surgically accurate intonation, and here, comes coupled with a swamp ash Snapper body and a high-quality Hipshot string-through-body hardtail bridge to result in a sonic foundation framed by rich resonance and prominent sustain. The extra tuning stability supplied by the LTD locking tuners don't do any harm either.

The ESP LTD SN-1007HT Baritone: Active Plus Passive Seven-String Sound

The ash body doesn't just lay down resonance but adds a light scoop to focus the basses and clarify the trebles, and this is translated by the double-team of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers with expert accuracy. Toggle the push-pull tone pot to flip the pups between two different voicings where the Alnico double-coil at the bridge produces full and warm active tone as well as clean and clear passive baritone sound, while the ceramic pickup at the neck delivers the articulate growl needed for active leads or deliciously tight, passive hi-gain output.
