General

Crafted by the ESP master-builders in Japan, the ESP E-II Viper Baritone doesn't just pack a deeper-diving range but delivers sublime sound and playability. The longer 27 inch scale length retains balanced tension across all six strings, removing the need to experiment with tuning down by a whole note or trying out thicker gauged strings and setting up this model for heavier and more brutal guitar work. So you know what you're getting, the standard tuning of the E-II Viper Baritone is B to B, and that tuning is fully backed up by consistent definition.

The ESP E-II Viper Baritone CHMS: Super-Fast

This sleek ESP offering comes with an active EMG pickup load-out, where an EMG 60 sits at the neck and spits fire-breathing output and enough thick tone to support single-note solos, while a sought-after EMG 81 sits at the bridge, guaranteeing plenty of output and forceful sustain. Equipped with this humbucker pair, this is one high-performance baritone shredder. Couple all of that with the solid mahogany body, the three-piece maple neck and neck-through construction, and you're getting resonance for days - alongside the super-fast playability of a Thin-U profile and flat 12 inch fretboard radius.

The ESP E-II Series

The ESP E-II line-up builds a bridge between the more expensive ESP Original Series models and the more affordable LTD models. However, these are no entry-level guitars. These are high-precision riff-machines, each developed and built in Japan by ESP's own qualified guitar gurus, setting a new standard when it comes to quality. Every E-II six-string features high-grade woods, comes dipped in a deluxe paint-job and loaded with the best pickups and hardware going.
