General

Dive bombs, screaming harmonics and a deep diving arsenal of a note-range: the E-II Horizon FR-7 model comes dipped in black and mounted with a Floyd Rose double locking vibrato system, so you can pull out every tremolo trick in the book without fear of dropping tune. To give this electric guitar its sleek aesthetics, both the alder body and maple neck have been outlined in white binding, and the matching dark ebony fretboard has been adorned with offset mini-block position markers - with the ESP logo inlaid at the 12th fret to polish everything off. The treats don't end there, since this seven-string is voiced by a pair of active EMG humbuckers, comes backed up by a set of Gotoh locking tuners, and comes pre-packed in an EMG hardshell case complete with a set of Schaller strap-locks.

EMG 707 Active Pickups

Because this is the Horizon, the amplified sound goes above and beyond. The mounted dual coils are made by the biggest name in active electronics, and in both the bridge and neck positions, you're getting an EMG 707. Since its debut in 2001, the EMG 707 has been the go-to for seven-string models so, with this humbucker, the low-B string is never in danger of sounding muddy, instead it sounds fully defined and packed with character. In the hands of these pickups, the other six strings also sound perfectly balanced and articulate, completing the incredible response and tightness that has made the 707 so loved by seven-string guitarists worldwide - whether you're reaching for jazz chords or spinning muted djent-notes.

The ESP E-II Series

The ESP E-II line-up builds a bridge between the more expensive ESP Original Series models and the more affordable LTD models. However, these are no entry-level guitars. These are high-precision riff-machines, each developed and built in Japan by ESP's own qualified guitar gurus, setting a new standard when it comes to quality. Every E-II model features high-grade woods, comes dipped in a deluxe paint-job and loaded with the best pickups and hardware going.
