General

The Les Paul Studio was originally designed for studio guitarists. It has a basic look, and is more lightweight, but it comes with all the familiar perks. Epiphone offers this LP solid-body with an attractive price tag for those just starting out or more advanced players with limited funds. The body and hand-set neck are made of mahogany while the fretboard is made of rosewood. The smooth, comfortable neck has a 12-inch fretboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, allowing you to press the strings down more easily and play stable chords, robust riffs and lightning-fast solos.

Les Paul Studio: Open Coil Alnico Classic humbuckers and locking hardware

The unmistakable full, creamy sound of the single-cut Epiphone without a top is translated electronically by two cover-less humbuckers, resulting in optimal amplified guitar sounds. The pickups are dual open-coil and offer a warm, rich tone that's instantly associated with the legendary Les Paul Studio solidbody. Thanks to the brand's special double-wax vacuum treatment, both humbuckers operate quietly without causing any microphonic interference while the locking Tune-o-matic bridge and fixed stopbar tailpiece offer incredible stability for a better acoustic sound transmission. And finally, to tie it all together, this LP Studio features reliable, sealed self-lubricating Grover machine heads.
