Les Paul was someone who achieved a lot in his lifetime. He was not only a great guitarist, but he was also very innovative when it came to the studio. The combination of mahogany, maple and rosewood ensures a tonal palette that sounds solid and well-defined with wisps of brightness and warmth. Epiphone's Les Paul Standard PlusTop PRO offers an enticing mix of tradition, playing comfort and modern-day technology.

Les Paul Standard PlusTop PRO: professional

As its name suggests, the PlusTop PRO has an impressive AAA flamed maple top. The three A's stand for the beautiful grain patterns in the wood, which are also known as tiger stripes. These stripes are accentuated beautifully by the transparent finish, and in just the right light, they even appear to be 3D!

ProBucker & coil-splitting

This guitar not only looks good, it sounds good too. It's equipped with two humbuckers, a ProBucker 2 at the neck and a ProBucker 3 at the bridge. Furthermore, there are push-pull volume controls for both ProBuckers that give you a robust PAF tone as well as sparkling, bright single-coil sounds.
