The Epiphone Les Paul Muse finds its roots firmly planted in the rich Gibson LP tradition. While undeniably vintage in style, this guitar carries all the features demanded by the modern guitarist. This freshened-up model is solid, versatile and, due to the recently developed weight-relief treatment, boasts a lighter, less back-breaking weight than the models that inspired its classic shape. This process involves the strategic placement of holes in the solid wood of the body, which not only improves overall playing comfort by shaving off some weight but adds a little unexpected acoustic resonance.

The Les Paul Muse: Inspired From Every Angle

The C-profile neck sits reassuringly snug against the fret-hand while two Alnico Classic PRO pickups growl with that thick and timeless high-gain humbucker sound. All of this is to be expected, but the ultra-modern edge of the Muse comes into play when the push/pull potentiometers are popped. This mercilessly splits the humbuckers in two for sweet clean tones and a delicious single-coil crunch, flipping the output of this guitar from a polite, warm shimmer to full-on, mix-punching scream. Another welcome modern touch is the reassuringly stable LockTone bridge which will never threaten to move when it comes to re-stringing your LP-styled electric-Muse.
