General

The clever design, meticulous attention to detail, the sound and the looks are reminiscent of the fifties in this iconic version of Duesenberg's Starplayer TV. This version of the most popular model from the German guitar makers has been given an extra-special finish - a crocodile leather-look. The other special features of the Starplayer TV have been retained, with a semi-hollow body made of maple, a spruce top, a completely flat set-in maple neck and a Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola vibrato unit that ensures stable tuning. This electric guitar comes with a luxurious hard case with Paisly leather exterior.

Duesenberg Starplayer TV Outlaw for any music style

This version also retains the Duesenberg P-90 and Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbucker pickups. The P-90 sounds just like it should: a souped-up single-coil. The humbucker meanwhile is a pickup with a PAF-like coil that can also function like a traditional single coil. Together they give the guitar a broad vintage rock sound with a fat punch, but they can also generate a fierce attack as well as open airy chords. The three-way pickup switch filters out low frequencies in the middle position, making this guitar a very versatile instrument suitable for just about any music style. The sound and playability of this guitar is well-known throughout the world.

Duesenberg named itself after the famous car company from the twenties that stood for elegance, luxury and mechanical precision. It also adopted these qualities for its guitars, with an eye for detail and art deco styles that have been sought after ever since. All of the hardware used was developed in-house. This results in eye-catching guitars with a unique sound favoured by many famous guitarists around the world. Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, Ron Wood, Bob Dylan, Billy Gibbons, Jon Bon Jovi, Elvis Costello, all have one or more Duesenbergs.
