General

After turning to many guitarists for advice, Duesenberg developed the CC Fullerton: a CC model with double cutaways for better access to the higher frets. Based on the Starplayer TV, the CC has a slightly bigger body for an even more impressive sound. Its body is made of maple and features a spruce top, while the maple neck features an Indian rosewood fretboard. The strings run across a tune-o-matic bridge to the reliable Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola vibrato unit. When you use the tremolo arm, the bridge bends just a little bit too, in order to help keep your guitar in tune.

Duesenberg CC Fullerton Vintage White

The Fullerton name is an homage to Fullerton, California, where Leo Fender built his first electric guitar. While this model was developed in the American offices, assembly of the CC Fullerton takes place in Germany. As such, you can expect the usual high-quality German craftsmanship from the Duesenberg CC Fullerton. The immense attention to detail is proof of that. Take a look at the miniature 5-layer purfling around the bindings, for instance. And what about the gorgeous striping on the pickguard's black and gold underlay? Even the locking tuners have that deluxe '50s Cadillac feel to them!

Clever pickup configuration

The CC in this guitar's name stands for Carl Carlton, a German guitar player. But that's not the only famous name attached to this guitar, as Glenn Frey from The Eagles, for instance, also has one! Furthermore, the CC Fullerton is a great guitar for many different genres, thanks in large part to its ingenious pickup configuration. At the neck, you'll find a Duesenberg Domino P-90 that allows for a sparkling tone with a nice edge to it, while there's a Duesenberg Grand Vintage at the bridge, which is a PAF-like humbucker for when the real shredding starts! When you set the pickup switch to the middle position, the lows are filtered out a bit, for a much more versatile sound.

Duesenberg's army of fans

Duesenberg got its name from a famous German car brand from the 1920s. That brand was synonymous with elegance, luxury and mechanical precision. Clearly, Duesenberg Guitars strives for those very same things. Since 1986, they've been crafting instruments with incredible attention to detail and shapes that bring to mind the art deco movement. All of the hardware used was developed in-house. This results in eye-catching guitars with a unique sound favoured by many famous guitarists around the world. Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, Ron Wood, Bob Dylan, Billy Gibbons, Jon Bon Jovi, Mike Campbell, Elvis Costello; all of these musicians have one or more Duesenbergs.
