General

This black Dimavery DP-520 was inspired by one of the most famous guitars ever made: the SG. With its distinctively thin body and two sharp horns, this solid-body guitar is one of rock music's true icons, think of AC/DC, for instance. Thanks to its two cutaways it is easy to reach even the highest frets.

DP-520: solid-body construction

This electric guitar has a solid basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck. Basswood is known for its balanced tone with neat basses, powerful mids and sweet trebles. Maple produces a clear sound with a bite. These wood types make that this guitar is excellent for neat rhythm playing and to cut through the mix during solos. Its dark 22-fret rosewood fretboard is adorned with pearloid trapezoid inlays and white bindings.

Extensive electronics for a wide range of sounds

The DP-520 is equipped with two humbucker pickups with chrome covers. Humbuckers are known for their warm, full sound that is ideal for various types of music, from jazz and blues to rock and metal. The three-position pickup switch lets you alternate between the neck and the bridge pickup or use a combination of both. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control that allow you to further adjust the sound to your liking.
