General
The legendary, 1959 vintage Danelectro Deluxe makes a welcome return in the tasty form of the 59 Divine. Subtly improved in all the right places and loaded with two Alnico VI lipstick pickups, this electric underground hero brings back the sound of the late fifties. Both pickups feature unique 80/20 brass and zinc alloy covers, famously sourced from the cosmetic giants Max Factor, so when you add on the vintage-correct pot caps, you've got one satisfying throwback model that spits authentic tone supported by the stability of a more modern build.
The Danelectro 59 Divine: Heavenly Clarity
Scroll through dynamic, responsive and defined amplified sonic profiles via the three-way pickup switch and volume and tone controls. The familiar, sparkling character of this guitar is expanded by the airy warmth of the stable spruce-frame body, while an internal centre-block helps counter any less welcome feedback. The classic U3 bridge, meanwhile, has been kitted out with six individual saddles that are easily set up and intonated, and combine with a set of Grover-designed vintage machine heads to firm up the tuning stability of this irresistible Danelectro offering.
