Over the past years, the D'Angelico Excel SS has established itself as a serious option for pro and non-pro players alike. Featuring an all-mahogany body equipped with a modern C-profile maple neck topped with a bound ebony fretboard, this semi-acoustic guitar features two brawny humbuckers and spits warm, dynamic tone.
High-Grade Hardware & Electronics
While the deep cutaway and 22-fret design provide smooth access to the higher notes, the Grover tuners, dual-action truss rod, TUSQ nut and Tune-O-Matic bridge guarantee stable tuning, clean intonation and solid sustain, giving gigging guitarists a more than reliable tool that can take on a wide range of styles.
