Enter the Cort G-Series flagship model: the G300 Pro. This slick electric guitar combines boutique styling with the best possible specs that Cort can offer at this price level. Luckily, that means a real American basswood body topped with a 6mm thick slice of maple, plus a set of Seymour Duncan TB-4/SH-2N humbuckers that have been specifically wired so that the fitted 5-way switch even toggles through individual coils. Needless to say, the result is high-quality, highly-flexible tone.
The G300 Pro: Top-Tier Parts
Now let's look at the top-tier parts that Cort have used to flesh out the G300 Pro. For a start, you're looking at a roasted maple neck and 12" to 16" compound radius fretboard finished with 24 stainless steel frets. Add that to the Ergo-V profile of the neck, and what you get are extreme levels of playing comfort. Also, the Luminlay side-dots are great for navigating the frets in the dark, while premium hardware like the GraphTech Black Tusq nut, the modern two-point tremolo bridge and the staggered locking machine heads take care of optimum tuning stability and resonance.

Setup/action is excellent straight from the box.
Tremolo works well with the 2 springs fitted but an extra spring is provided in the bag with Allen keys etc if you want it to be a bit stiffer.
I cannot fault the fit and finish of this beautiful guitar and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a purchase, especially at this price point where it puts the competition in the shade with things like stainless steel frets and Seymour Duncan pickups.
