General
Charvel's Pro Mod DK24 is an electric guitar for guitarists who want to be seen and heard. The maple fretboard really stands out on this model and it offers brightness and clarity to the tone too. Each of the 24 jumbo frets are easily accessible thanks to the 'shredder's cut' at the lower horn and another practical detail is the compound fretboard radius that measures 12 inches at the headstock and 16 inches at the body. That makes rhythm and lead playing equally comfortable. It's easy to see that Charvel has put plenty of thought into the design of the Pro Mod DK24.
Pro Mod DK24: built to rock!
The alder body is equipped with two passive humbucker pickups by Seymour Duncan. At the bridge, there's a Full Shred SH-10B which has a lightly-scooped midrange and lots of treble, while there's the renowned Jazz SH-2N at the neck. This combination makes the DK24 perfect for styles like rock, blues and metal, and even with heavy distortion the notes remain clear which is great when you're playing complex riffs and fast solos. There's also a No-Load Tone Control which means that the tone potentiometer can be completely isolated leaving you with nothing but the guitar's own pure character.
