General
Blending a lightweight and travel-friendly miniaturised design with deluxe detailing and Blackstar-grade sound, this is the Blackstar Carry-On electric guitar. The scale length measures just 20.7 inches to balance perfectly with the smaller and shallower body, but has been combined with a set of .12 to .54 gauge strings, so the playability is just as tight as that of a full sized model. The Blackstar Carry-On also comes including a comfy, custom-sized gig bag fitted with shoulder straps and extra accessory pockets.
Designed with Care in the UK
The neck as well as the body have been carved out of solid okoume wood to keep the weight as low as possible and gives the foundation of the Carry-On a similar tonal warmth as mahogany, and since a single piece of wood was used, maximum resonance is assured while the single mini-humbucker delivers a surprising amount of power and brilliant, stonking sound. Finished with a premium paint-job and deluxe-style body binding, this is a more-than-worthy travelling companion for any roaming guitarist.
