This 3255R Classic Core string set is made out of NPS for a high output, dynamic sound and warm, sharp tone colours. The R in 3255R refers to regular, which in turn refers to its string gauge. These strings fit perfectly on your Strat's tremolo bridge because of their bullet-ends. They'll be unable to move around your sustain block for more stable performance.

Classic Core

Fender has created this string set to bring back that vintage sound from the good ol' days. That's because these 3255R Classic Core strings have a round core as opposed to most modern strings' hexagonal core. This makes for a well-worn sound with a deeper low-end and a more fragile high.
