General

Fender has managed to capture that classic, old school sound with the 3155R pure nickel string set. This vintage sound can be attributed to the use of pure nickel which makes for warm, rich tones. These strings have a standard gauge (.010 – .046) so they're accessible for both beginner and advanced guitarists. The tips of these strings have unique bullet-ends, making these strings ideal for tremolo bridges while lengthened string ends restrict movement so your guitar won't be out of tune so quickly.

Classic Core

This set is part of the Classic Core series. These strings have a round core as opposed to most modern strings, which usually have a hexagonal core. The round core ensures an expressive sound with a deep low-end and softer highs. Its timbre can be described as worn-out but in a positive kind of way.
