De Ernie Ball RPS Slinky-serie snarensets zijn uitgevoerd met de zogenaamde Reinforced Plain Strings. Dit wil zeggen dat de niet omwonden snaren bij de ball-ends verstevigd zijn met een speciale bronzen wikkeling. Het breken, slippen en ontstemmen van de snaren wordt hierdoor aanzienlijk verminderd. Daarom gaan de RPS Slinky snaren veel langer meer dan conventionele snarensets.

Extra Slinky
De Extra Slinky is Ernie Ball's dunste set snaren. Hierdoor laten de snaren zich nog gemakkelijker indrukken, waardoor akkoorden veel soepeler aanvoelen. Ideaal voor kleinere handen en als u niet veel kracht heeft. Het opdrukken tijdens solo's gaat ook veel gemakkelijker, dankzij deze extreem soepele snaren.

Verpakking van de snaren
De Slinky elektrische snaren zijn gemaakt met de fijnste en zuiverste grondstoffen. Alle Ernie Ball snaren zijn verpakt in een hermetisch afgesloten verpakking om ervoor te zorgen dat de snaren net zo vers blijven als de dag dat ze gemaakt werden.
