Dunlop's Icon Series presents the ZWN1046 Zakk Wylde signature strings, designed to take the extreme shred work of the king of metal guitar. Zakk himself tested these strings critically and extensively, resulting in a set that can withstand the toughest guitar hands. Furthermore, because the set is based on Dunlop's Heavy Core technology, the strings have thicker cores with thinner winding. This means that they won't break as quickly and that they will last much longer, completely redefining the idea of stable tuning.
ZWN1046 Zakk Wylde: excellent intonation and playability
The unique combination of high-grade steel and nickel-wound steel delivers clear highs, focused mids and defined lows. Together with the special ratio between the gauge of the core wire and the windings, Dunlop has created strings that last longer, keep their clarity and stretch out more quickly. In addition, the Dunlop guitar strings provide a balanced string-to-string response, so you can enjoy impressive precision and intonation when you are playing your guitar.
