Wrote the following about Dunlop DEN1356 Electric Nickel Extra Heavy Electric Guitar Strings (013 - 056)

Ik speel graag op een lichtgewicht gitaar zoals de Fender duo sonic (shortscale gitaar) en deze snaren zijn echt een aanrader als je zoals ik ook nog eens graag in lager stemming wil spelen. Met deze megadikke snaren heb je absoluut geen last meer van onbedoelde bends in akkoorden of ander toon vervormingen die vaak met de 11 en misschien 12 hogerop in de nek plaatsvinden. De snaren produceren een zeer degelijk geluid, en de galm die ervanaf komt is gelukkig ook een sound wat mij aanstaat. Het enige minpunt is toch de G-snaar die nu omgewonden is en daardoor niet zo helder klinkt als gebruikelijk en in vergelijking met de rest van de snaren. Alsnog is dit voor mij geen dealbreaker, maar het zou in de toekomst mooi wezen als Dunlop de G-snaar in deze serie als massief kan uitbrengen.
