General
The D'Addario NYXL1046 Regular Light is a set of six strings for electric guitar. Their gauges range from .010 to .046 inches, which means they are supple enough to bend almost effortlessly, while still thick enough to deliver a full sound. These NYXL strings have been developed according to an improved nickel-plated steel formula that has excellent magnetic properties. The result is more output in the 1 to 3.5kHz range. In other words, these strings boast more presence to really cut through the mix!
The D'Addario NYXL1046 String: Extra Strength and Quick Tuning
The NYXL strings are made in New York by D'Addario, and are nothing short of revolutionary in the world of electric guitar strings. They are the result of a production process in which high-carbon steel is used, making them 20-40% stronger than strings of the same gauge by another brand. It also means you can bend them even further than other strings before they break, and that they stay in tune up to 131% better as well. The biggest advantage is that you can spend your time making music on your guitar instead of constantly tuning it.
