General

This full pack kits out any novice guitarist with a full-sized, ST-style electric guitar, a practice amplifier and jack lead, a gig bag, tuner, strap, a set of plectrums, and even a fresh pack of strings. At the heart of it all, the Fazley FST118 electric guitar echoes the stone-cold classic that was played by countless big-name guitar legends, and features a basswood body which doesn't just balance the basses, trebles and middle frequencies to result in excellent tone, but keeps the weight nice and low. This guitar has also been pre-fitted with a set of light-gauged strings, which are more flexible than regular-gauged strings, making it much easier for learning-fingers to hold down notes and chords. Meanwhile, the included Kubo 10 amp has been polished off with a distortion channel as well as a clean channel to fully support an array of timeless guitar sounds, and the included Fazley T-40 clip-on tuner ensures fuss-free tuning up.

First impressions - I'm impressed. I'm a bedroom guitarist who has been branching out into exploring blues/lead and wanted an inexpensive guitar to get back into playing. Always loved playing strat type guitars and this has all the characteristics you would expect at a very reasonable price. Finish is lovely and the tobacco sunburst looks pretty amazing for 57 whole scottish pounds. On the negative side, some areas on board, fretting is a bit buzzy and im not sure how well it is going to hold its tune, however with a bit of fettling believe these issues to be solvable.

very good bag, sems durable and smart. good for carrying , okay in a backpack confiuration too
hopefully it will wear well.
the equivalent bag for electric bass guitars also works fine as a bag for lead guitars - if anyone just needs one bag to serve to carry either type of guitar, then buy the bass guitar version.

for the money,these strings are fine,i went for the light gauge and for me,they are too light,very easy to bend,but,they stay in tune,next time i`d go for a medium,what i will say,is that the service from bax is excellent,my guitar was packed incredibly well,and a really fast delivery,included a free book about how to look after your instrument, how to change strings,and the like,i`m past needing this info,but if this is your first guitar,some great pointers................hats off to bax music
