General

While supplies last, this Yamaha RGX220DZ electric guitar is available in a set with the Yamaha THR5 guitar amplifier! The first thing a beginner metal guitarist has to do is get an instrument to play that is specially made for real shredding work. Then all you have to do is connect the guitar to the THR5 amplifier and give it a convincing voice. This compact vintage-inspired amplifier is extraordinarily well suited for inspiring practice sessions.

The incredibly complete THR5 guitar amplifier

Powered by battery or adapter, the Yamaha THR5 is a guitar amp produces an impressive array of sounds, thanks to its Virtual Circuitry Modeling technology. It emulates different amplifier modules (clean, crunch, lead, brit hi and modern) and offers diverse effects such as chorus, tremolo and reverb. A couple of great extras include the 3.5mm jack so you can connect an MP3 player and play along, and the USB port for recording music directly to your computer.

Humbuckers and Floyd Rose

The humbuckers featured on the RGX220DZ guitar lend themselves to a nice, tight guitar sound and remain transparent even at high-gain levels. Moreover, they're mounted to a quality alder body and accompanied by a Floyd Rose tremolo. With a Floyd Rose, you really have the room to experiment and get creative without throwing your guitar out of tune - just use the tremolo bar to alter the string tension for vibrato effects!

Dank !

I am impressed about the quality on this little amp.
It is loud enough to play at home/apartment.
Really liked the modes from clean to modern overdrive.
Also the effects and delays are neat! Would be nice to combine them :)

The bad things:
Cables included in the box are really bad quality, specially the aux cable (p2-p2)
I miss the dials for tone adjustment of treble, medium and bass.
Would be nice to put in the box a p2-p10 adaptor to headphones
