Algemeen:
Deze snaren voor de 5-snarige elektrische basgitaar zijn speciaal ontwikkeld voor het omstemmen, ook wel drop-down tuning genoemd. De basgitaar omstemmen wanneer deze is voorzien van een gemiddelde kwaliteit set snaren zorgt vaak voor een onzuivere toon. Ook de helderheid blijft vaak niet behouden. Met de DDT5-45 snaren, die door DR Strings uitvoerig zijn getest, zullen er nog maar weinig tot geen aanpassingen meer nodig zijn en blijft u toon niet alleen helder, maar zeker zuiver! Ook op lagere stemmingen behouden de snaren hun intonatie en blijven stabiel en accuraat.

Zelden zo'n slechte set snaren op mijn bas gehad! De lage B wil gewoon niet gestemd blijven. En als je in de studio zit kost je dit waardevolle tijd. Na een korte tijd klinken ze al ontzettend dof. Dit zou je niet verwachten bij een set snaren voor toch 40,-
Heb voorheen altijd Elixir gehad en daar blijf ik bij. Stemmen binnen no-time en zijn veel langer "houdbaar". En dat voor een paar euro's meer.
