Nu dus dit vederlichte monster om de nek gehangen.
Man , wát een bas, is licht, speelt licht, klinkt modern, kan mooi knorren en slapt iedereen de deur uit.
Ik heb een B-stock op de kop getikt, maar er was nagenoeg niets aan te merken op de bas op 1 ding na. De tool om de necht bij te stellen (truss rod inbus) was niet oké. Hij draaide door (dol) , maar dit was gelukkig te wijden aan de tool zelf, toen ik een eigen inbus erbij pakte, draaide deze gelukkig normaal.
Merk af en toe dat ik nog de snaar mis pluk, maar dat is gewenning, weet ik zeker!
Fantastisch apparaat, blij mee!
De afstelling bij levering was wel echt te licht, de nek stond te recht, en de B en E snaar waren niet zonder fret-buzz te spelen. Maar afstellen was simpel en nu speelt hij prefect.
De klank is erg veelzijdig, met veel dynamiek: en dan niet zozeer in volume maar vooral in klankkleur. Rustig/normaal spelen klinkt "modern/vertrouwd", maar bij iets meer overtuiging komt er een heerlijke knor bij die ik erg mooi vind.
De gig bag is super, en de bijgeleverde toolset is een voorbeeld hoe het ook kan: echt van een andere orde!
Kortom, geen seconde spijt van deze aankoop.
Na 2x een Ibanez EHB geprobeerd te hebben (ook de premium versie) vond ik die zwaar teleurstellend in afwerking en ook een aantal fatale design-failures, zoals de snaarbevestiging op de kop. Gaat het nu niet over.
Ik zit nog in de wittebroodsweken met deze bas, maar WAT EEN APPARAAT! Perfecte afwerking, onderdelen en bespeelbaarheid. Laag gewicht (2,9KG) en toch super-resonant, zelfs zonder versterker. Super veelzijdig in toon (ik ben ‘m nog aan het temmen) en die neck is een droom voor onvermoeibaar spelen. De beste tas die ik ooit standaard heb meegeleverd gekregen en een zeer uitgebreide set tools (er zitten zelfs oordopjes bij)
Minpuntjes: persoonlijk heb ik geen warme gevoelens over de Luminol positiemarkers (doen het een half-uurtje max, maar tegen die tijd staan m’n handen toch wel correct op de nek) en de bas is afgewerkt met een soort matte finnish die snel vies of glimmend wordt bijvoorbeeld rond de volumeknop. Niet de mooiste ‘bookmark’ die ik ooit gezien heb.
Ik heb deze bas gekocht op een speciale BAX -29% korting aanbieding, prijs/kwaliteit is dan super.
Le manche est assez déroutant au début, il faut s'y habituer, mais le fait est qu'il fatigue moins la main gauche.
Les micros Fishman ont un son très moderne, très hifi, mais avec pas mal de possibilités.
Une basse réussie et novatrice en tous points, pour ceux qui sont las des éternelles redites des type P et des types J qu'on nous sert depuis 60 ans.
Un instrument idéal pour jouer des heures durant...
