A 5-string bass that's both high in quality and affordable in price is not easy to find. That's why Marcus Miller and Sire teamed up to develop this top-notch V7 5ST Alder J-style electric bass with 5 strings and an attractive price tag. Using the mini switch, you can toggle between active and passive electronics, and as well as volume and tone controls on a stacked potentiometer, you've also got a 3-band EQ at your fingertips. But Sire and Miller didn't stop there - the mid is also stacked so you can select accurately which mid-frequency you want to increase or decrease in your overall amplified sound. This is what sets the V7A5 apart from the rest in terms of versatility and suitability for any genre, from jazz to metal!

V7 5ST Alder: powerful, diverse and affordable

The foundation of this bass sound is made up of a combination of wood types: it has an ash body with a bolted-on maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. That means this bass is manageable in terms of weight and boasts a powerful mid-range, solid basses and subtle, smooth trebles. Two Marcus Super Jazz single-coil pickups translate all of this to the balanced, switchable electronics and the Heavy Mass Standard string-thru-body bridge and bone string nut contribute to the sweet, acoustic sustain. The Sire V7 5ST Alder is an affordable bass for players of any level who want great looks, feel and sound for an unbeatable price!
