General

The Sandberg Florence Bass has a short-and-tight 30 inch scale length, spits passive amplified sound, comes decked out in vintage style and backed up by modern hardware. The core of this solid-body bass echoes the Florence Guitar, and from there, has been fully customised to give bassists the very best of the old-school alongside the very best of current innovation. The result is a high-grade four-string fitted with a neck that has the same smooth and familiar playing feel as a much-loved Californian model, while the lightly modified cutaway leaves nothing in the way of the higher frets.

The Sandberg Florence Bass: High-Precision Sound via a Single Powerhumbucker

Finger-style groovers as well as plectrum-wielding bassists are fully accommodated by this German-built bass thanks to the comfortably contoured mahogany body, the stable four-bolt neck join and the traditional rosewood fretboard. This classic foundation shapes creamy warmth that's amplified with solid vintage tone by the single Sandberg Powerhumbucker which, following lengthy experimentation, has been uniquely placed to guarantee the best possible sound no matter the settings.

Simple Control

Dial everything in via an ultra-simple set of single tone and volume pots where the tone pot also doubles as a push/pull switch for toggling between dual-coil and single-coil output, supporting extensive tonal variation. In terms of hardware, you're getting treated to the unrivalled stability of a set of Sandberg vintage tuners and a Sandberg bridge complete with four adjustable saddles. All of this flexible power comes dipped in a soft aged paint-job and pre-wrapped in a form-fitting Sandberg gig bag.
