General

Featuring an extra-light Soundgear-style body that's made from okoume and combines with an exotic maple top finished with oval soundholes, the Ibanez Bass Workshop SRD900F boasts a progressive build, and even more so because of its fretless design, which gives you no less than 30 positions to grab notes. Instead of frets, the panga-panga fretboard of the 5-piece maple/walnut neck has been adorned with abalone position markers, subtle fret lines and Luminescent side dots, providing ample assistance for playing clean notes.

The Ibanez SRD900F: Big Break Pickups

Ibanez has armed the SRD900F with two Nordstrand Big Break pickups. These single-coils come in a soapbar housing and combine with an undersaddle piezo pickup and two volume pots plus active 2-band EQ controls and dedicated piezo gain trim pots for an extra-broad tonal range that even covers semi-acoustic double bass-style vibes. This first-rate fretless bass has been finished with an AeroSilk MR5 bridge that's specifically designed to work in concert with piezo pickups.
