The Ibanez Soundgear Series SR600E doesn't just look like a 21st century bass, it feels and sounds like one too. That's because the slim SR4 neck has been constructed out of five pieces of wood and finished with a special oil, all before being solidly bolted to the comfy lightweight ash body, which in turn has been polished off with satin-gloss lacquer and is home to a dependable Accu-Cast B500 bridge.

The SR600E: Nordstrand Big Break Pickups and Custom Electronics Preamp

The bright, sustain-rich acoustic sound shaped by the ash body is captured by two Nordstrand Big Break soapbar pickups which, with the help of the Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp, send forceful and defined tone to your amp. Thanks to the 3-band EQ controls and 3-way mid frequency switch, you also get plenty of options when it comes to tweaking the specifics. You can even bypass the EQ altogether.
