General

The Ibanez Bass Workshop range is known for high-quality basses with special features. For the EHB1505, that's a headless, five-string design with a seriously stable, 9-piece panga-panga/walnut neck that's been reinforced with graphite and bolted to a chambered body carved out of lightweight and warm-sounding African mahogany. Unlike its siblings, this particular model has a standard, 34-inch long scale fretboard.

The Ibanez EHB1505: Nordstrand Big Split Custom Pickups

Other high-quality details include the luminescent side dots, abalone offset position markers and twenty-four, medium-sized stainless steel frets, and the best is yet to come: two Nordstrand Big Split Custom pickups and an active preamp that sets you up with extensive tone controls so you can explore a broad spectrum of sounds, including passive tone. As a sweet bonus, Ibanez even includes a matching gig bag and a set of Schaller straplocks.
