General

The Modern Collection Les Paul Junior Tribute DC Bass has the snug feel of a shorter scale and packs Gibson-grade sound. The mahogany body of this deep-diving model is a double-cut twist on the body of an LP Junior guitar and has been finished with a set-in maple neck, a rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, and 20 medium frets, all of which combine for addictive and comfortable playability. This Designer Series bass comes with a form-fitting gig bag and Gibson Accessory Kit.

The Les Paul Junior Tribute DC Bass: Shortscale, Fat Sound

The neck of the Junior Tribute DC has a slightly shorter 30.5" scale length that gives it a tight and more manageable playing feel while keeping the weight down. The mahogany and maple build provides a classic and fat, yet defined foundation sound that's voiced by a nice and thick double-coil BassBucker pickup and a single volume and tone pot. Pop the push/pull volume pot, and the BassBucker is split in two, revealing a contrasting, lighter character and doubling the tonal range. All of this comes backed up by the tuning stability offered by a 3-Point Adjustable bridge and a set of Hipshot Ultra-Light Mini-Clover machine heads.
