The Vintera II ‘50s Precision Bass is based on an iconic Fender bass that forever changed the world. It features an alder body armed with a specially-designed Vintage-Style '50s Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup which guarantees that classic warm-and-dynamic sound. Meanwhile, the Late '50s C neck profile, the old-school 7.25-inch radius of the maple fretboard, and the gold anodised aluminium pickguard make sure this timeless four-string doesn't just look the part, but feels the part. Online altijd veel goede verhalen gehoord over de Vintera-serie. Net toen ik op zoek ging naar een nieuwe P-bass kwam de Vintera II-serie uit. Geen spijt van deze aankoop. De nek is lekker dik (moet je van houden), de hals speelt lekker soepel en de pick up klinkt lekker diep.
Alleen de E-snaar is nogal dicht tegen de rand van de nek op de kam (nog geen last gehad dat de snaar van de hals is geschoven) en de frets hadden iets netter afgewerkt kunnen worden.
Al met al: een hele dikke goede bas.
