In the freshly warped form of the Player Plus Active Meteora Bass, Fender serve up an eye-catching electric bass guitar that boasts a high degree of playability and a broad range of sounds. Its solid alder body comes mounted with a pair of Fender Fireball humbuckers to guarantee the fat punch and deep growl expected of any Fender-made bass while, thanks to the fitted mini-switch, you can effortlessly flip between active and passive mode. The on-board active 3-band EQ also helps to sculpt your Meteora-tone in minute detail and as an added bonus, Fender even throw in a deluxe gig bag.

The Player Plus Active Meteora Bass: Smooth Playability

It's clear that Fender have built the Active Meteora Bass with contemporary bassists in mind. The C-profile maple neck sports a smooth satin gloss finish that feels fast, the edges of the fretboard have been rounded for that familiar, played-in feel, and the flat 12" radius fretboard and 22 medium jumbo frets only take the playability of this adaptable bass further. To finish the build, Fender complete each model with a set of open-gear machine heads and a trusty HiMass bridge that can be fully adjusted for spot-on sustain and precise intonation.
